Join Christian Central Academy’s exciting new program, “Read Across Buffalo”, designed to inspire a love for reading, encourage exploration of our beautiful city, and bring families together.
This program is open to all students in any school district.
Dive into books, discover iconic Buffalo locations, and win amazing prizes!
This program runs from June 10th through the end of Summer!
You can register anytime!
How It Works
- Explore: Visit Buffalo’s iconic locations like the Buffalo History Museum, Explore & More Museum, Botanical Gardens, the Buffalo Zoo, and more. Each one you visit, color in your map!
- Read: Dive into your favorite books and enjoy the journey of reading.
- Track: For every 20 minutes of reading, color a star on your special Path of Stars map.
- Win: Each star colored gets you closer to winning fantastic prizes!
Join Us for the Midsummer Party on July 24th! 🎉
We're excited to bring you an unforgettable evening featuring a foam party provided by Buffalo Foam Parties. Every registered reader will receive a book from The Teacher's Desk and a bookmark from Adventure Landing Buffalo, which includes one free round of mini golf! Plus, if you've colored all of your stars to the halfway point, you can spin our prize wheel to win even MORE cool prizes. Visit Explore and More Museum and get a discount!
From July 1-August 31, 2024, Read Across Buffalo participants will receive discounted admission to Explore & More – The Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Children’s Museum. A participating student and one guest will receive $3 off each of their tickets to Explore & More. This discount is a one-time use discount and may be redeemed in-person at the museum by letting museum Guest Services know upon arrival that a student is a participant in the program.
