Laurie Korb Hart

Introducing Laurie Korb Hart, a cherished alumna of Christian Central Academy, Class of 1997, whose journey epitomizes dedication, compassion, and family. Reflecting on her time at CCA, Laurie fondly remembers the vibrant atmosphere of the Music Man production during her senior year, where she took on the role of Mrs. Paroo. Ski Club nights at Holiday Valley and the unforgettable senior class trip to Virginia Beach also hold special places in her heart. Laurie pursued her passion for helping others, earning a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Cornerstone University and a Master's degree in Child & Family Studies from Miami University. Her commitment to service led her to a decade-long career in Adult Education with the homeless population, where she made a meaningful impact at Buffalo City Mission's Cornerstone Manor. Laurie's personal journey is equally inspiring. In 2013, she married Michael Hart, and together, they embraced the path of foster care and adoption.

In 2017, they became foster parents to a teen mom and her baby, eventually adopting two beautiful children, Lexus and Xavier, from foster care in 2020. Passionate about supporting families, Laurie joined Every Child in 2020 as the Family Support Coordinator. She now teaches Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) classes, empowering families to build strong, nurturing relationships. Laurie's story reflects the enduring values instilled at CCA and the profound impact alumni make in their communities. Let's celebrate Laurie Hart's dedication to service, compassion, and family, inspired by her CCA experience!
