Dear CCA Community,
We are moving forward with a comprehensive national and local search and a transition plan to ensure the continued stability and success of our school. Our top priority is maintaining CCA’s mission and values as we seek the right leadership for the future. While exercising diligence and sound judgment, we trust that God will provide the right person to lead us in the next chapter of our journey.
Since the date of Dr. Montoro’s resignation, we have accomplished several things:
* Conversations with people such as Chuck Gilliam (Eastern Division Head for the Association of Christian Schools International) and many others who are experienced with Head of School searches. As a result of these conversations, we received a wealth of resources and advice and expanded our network
* Completion of the Head of School Prospectus (Thank you for taking our survey!)
* Emailing Christian schools in NY and surrounding states about our Head of School position. (These are like-minded schools found in the ACSI database)
* Beginning to network with local ministries and churches for possible candidates.
Thank you for your continued prayers!
Deuteronomy 7:9 “Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love Him and keep His commandments to a thousand generations,”
Sincerely,
Karen Jones
