"Over the years of service at CCA, I have had the privilege of witnessing God at work in the hearts of many of my students. I saw many of them come to faith in Christ, and then grow in their relationship with Jesus and the truth of God’s Word throughout the year. I especially enjoyed helping children develop a Christian world view by integrating Scripture into everything throughout the school day, i.e., every subject, discipline situations, special events in the classroom, field trips, and even chats while walking down the hall. As they progressed through the grades, God used other Christian teachers to build upon the first grade foundation that was laid. When I hear of former students still walking with the Lord, I praise God along with John when he said, “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.” (3 John 4) I have also experienced the molding pressure God applied to CCA to make it a stronger, Christian institution for His glory. “ … O LORD, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand.” (Isaiah 64:8) I praise God for allowing me to experience the work of His hand at CCA for 29 years."

Being able to teach at CCA was a great privilege, and holds many special memories. My favorite part of this school is the students. I loved being able to teach in a way that was not just effective, but also infused with the Gospel. CCA provides an atmosphere where the staff and faculty can actively teach students about what Christ-like character looks like, and that is both unique and incredibly precious. The academics are important, and there is a high standard here for that, as there should be, but CCA goes so much further beyond that. It is a school that sees the students as a whole. The students are not just another learner or face in the crowd. The students are souls that the faculty can help guide into become all that God has for them. This is what makes CCA so special, and I am so grateful for the time I had working here. May God continue to bless this school and use it to raise up a generation of hard workers that love to learn, seek truth, and change this world for God's glory!

God provided great leadership, loving teachers, dedicated staff, and functional facilities including a new gym, all to accomplish the mission - sending out many Godly servant/leaders into His Kingdom. We praise God for the provision of a Christ-centered education for our son David and now for our sweet granddaughters Genevieve and Juliette.

"As a board member during the fund raising for the Emmanuel Gym, I admit that I had my doubts that the funds necessary could be raised and that such an undertaking was possible. However, meeting after meeting, our Board was continually energized by the faith of Nurline Lawrence who believed, without doubt, that God would see this project through to completion. Eventually, the seemingly impossible became the possible and the project was finished, praise be to God!"
